MAKING YOUR APPOINTMENTS EASY

We strive to make scheduling an appointment easy!
When you contact the office our receptionist will schedule an appointment based on your individual needs. We have day and evening appointment times available Monday through Thursday.

There are several easy steps to setting an appointment with us.

Upon your arrival for your first appointment, our office staff will go over your initial paperwork and ensure that payment arrangements have been settled. You then will be called back to meet with your assigned therapist who will begin the process of learning more about you, and the reasons for you seeking counseling support.

First Appointment Anxiety

It is common for individuals to experience some anxiety around attending their first therapy appointment. However, knowing what to expect can help ease some of that anxiety and help you better prepare for your first session. Our therapists and office staff are trained to help you feel as comfortable as possible, and will encourage you to move at your own pace. 

Counseling is not a quick fix to your problems, but a process. While some individuals report feeling better after one session, others may find that it takes some time before they experience the kind of changes they would like. It is also important to understand that when you get to the deeper issues or pain that needs to be healed, it is at that time where you may feel like withdrawing from the process. The truth of your feelings may overwhelm you, which is why most individuals repress them. We always stress the importance of you staying with your sessions because that pain needs to come up, in order for it to come out.

Please arrive on time.

For your first appointment, please arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the necessary paperwork. Please contact us to let us know that you expect to arrive late, and we will make efforts to accommodate you. Should you arrive to your session more than 15 minutes late, you may need to reschedule.

We are here to give you the best possible services, so you leave betterr than you arrived, and with more options for good health. We work collaboratively and cooperatively to ensure you get the very best services, whatever your needs.

Feel free to read through the personal bios of our therapists, which are located under the GET TO KNOW THE THERAPISTS Page. When you are ready to schedule, please call (404) 244-4540 to speak to our receptionist.
If this will be your first appointment with us, please make note to arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the necessary paperwork. For all clients, if you arrive to your session more than 15 minutes late, you will need to reschedule. We are well aware that emergencies happen, but if you have to cancel please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Clients who need to cancel appointments are requested to provide at minimum a 24 hour notice prior to the scheduled appointment. This will allow others to fill that slot that may be on our current waiting list. If you do not show up for an appointment a $50.00 charge will be assessed.

For the third and any subsequent occurrences, a full session fee will be assessed. You will personally be responsible for the payment of these charges. Exceptions may be granted upon emergent situations.
